Final Fantasy XIV, the new multiplayer RPG from Square Enix's hand, is just around the corner and because of their stunning graphics and high technical requirements they have been more than a nervous, and have decided to launch a 'benchmark' with which to see firsthand if we can play.
What does this mean? The first and most important is that the download is not a playable demo, but quite the opposite. This is a non-playable demo where you can see images of Final Fantasy XIV on the move rendered by your own computer to obtain the final results with the rate of obtained frame.
So if you're planning on playing for the new Square Enix or you're a true fan of the Final Fantasy series, check whether you need to upgrade your computer or if you can use this great new MMORPG on what you already have.
